San Fermin Nueva Orleans is an annual event held in New Orleans, LA, which is a spin off of the Spanish version. The weekend long event encompasses lots of drinking and the main event focuses on roller derby girls with whiffle ball bats chasing volunteered contestants. The design embodies the aftermath of the event with littered party cups trashed throughout the streets of New Orleans. The bull shape represents the original San Fermin event held in Spain where live bulls run the streets. Alcohol is one of the main differences that separate the events in NOLA and Spain, which is why it is the largest focus.
